new places, new spaces

dorm room (note adorable terrariums to your right) (yes our curtains could potentially belong to a twelve-year-old girl) (we enjoy the sparkliness)

went on a weekend trip to spokane with some friends! on friday megan and i woke up to this beautiful sunlight streaming through our window. in washington, sun = shot of instant happiness (for me, anyway).

gonzaga university

we explored gonzaga's beautiful campus and somehow made it to riverfront park and the radio flyer  slide (that's one thing to cross off my bucket list: slide down the handle of giant red wagon. YESSSS).

spokane river

the river was a grey, somber sort of pretty (wish it had been sunnier) and i took so many pictures (rivers bring out my shutter-happy side, what can i say).

friends on the steps

we walked around the city a bit and played laser tag (came in 21st, no big deal) and ate chipotle (aka food of the gods) and i bought some new jeans at the mall (in that white girl flow).

other ways i spent the weekend:
losing at ping pong
watching youtube videos (including laughing shamelessly hard at this one)
playing an impressive amount of board games, card games, and other assorted games (my favorite was this one)
listened to hours on hours on hours of music
having deep (and some not so deep) talks with friends
mourning my split ends (srsly a haircut is in order)

now i'm writing and avoiding homework and editing photos and may or may not be listening to the twilight: new moon soundtrack (cue haters).

anyway here's my procrastination playlist.

also, the ride home was beautiful

i love the pnw but, as one of my friends pointed out, california is sounding pretty good right now.

petitioning for a sunnier washington,
mac
