three words & wishful thinking

the weather i want

where i want to be

i love three-word writing prompts. i actually think i love writing them more than i love being prompted (?) by them.

here are some three-word prompts i wrote for my story golden:

unused wedding dress
picked-apart pastry
almost-empty pantry
splitting frozen logs
snipping paper snowflakes
spoonful of cream
thick wool hat
patterned oriental rugs
dented candy tins
lipstick blotting paper
dusty film reels
one got away
never-read books
fingers weave strands
military man posture
broad, stretching shoulders
shears in hand
lost in brick
empty, smoky courtyard

currently: feeling lazy and 100% done with being a responsible adult, cheers!

i wish it was late summer, early fall already.

and in other news, i've just discovered panic! at the disco's album too weird to live, too rare to die! and it is addictive and i'm overplaying it and i'm perfectly fine with that.

have a lovely evening!

floral film

sad but true: i used to hate spending time in nature. nothing about it really appealed to me. even the beautiful views didn't really strike me as extraordinary. i preferred photos of the view or words describing it.
now: i've grown more and more drawn to nature. i love the freshness, the feeling of new and natural and growing and raw. i have several plants in my room now and i love them so much. i wish i had a car so i could drive myself to beautiful, remote places and just center.
i think: i'm going to be a crazy plant lady when i get older. i'm okay with it.
so, for you: some of my photos of flora + favorite nature quotes.

everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.
